Around the World 1977 - Iran
Entered Iran from Tukey via Reza’iyah past Lake Urnia and camped between Iransah and Divan Darreh. Drove across the main highway near Kermanshah and camped west of Khorramabad. Drove to Esphahan via Daran. Drove to Persepolis and then north to Surmaz and camped near Beda Kabit. Drove via Yazd and camped in the Desert Dasht-e-Lut. Drove on through Tabiz to Mashad and finally into Afghanistan.
